Type over the page
Click any text on the page and type. Hover an item or category for add, reorder and delete buttons. Put the Japanese in the main line and the English in the subtitle — or the other way round. Pick the Japanese and Latin typefaces separately under Fonts, and the currency under Layout ($, £, € and ¥).
Save as PDF
Press PDF / Print, choose Save as PDF and tick Background graphics. The page comes out exactly A4. On US Letter paper, choose Fit to page.

Questions
Is MenuFits free?
Yes. Making a menu and saving it as an A4 PDF is free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on exports. MenuFits Pro is an optional one-time upgrade for more designs, covers and booklets.
Do I need to read Japanese?
No. The editor is in English. You type or paste the Japanese names yourself and choose the Japanese and Latin typefaces separately. Have a Japanese speaker check dish names before printing.
Can I print on US Letter paper?
Pages are A4. On US Letter paper, choose Fit to page in the print dialog (about 94%).
Where is my menu stored?
Only in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data clears the menu too, so save a .json file as a backup.
Can I use the menus commercially?
Yes. Print and use them in your restaurant freely. Please do not resell or redistribute the tool itself.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If Pro is not right for you, ask within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. A refunded key can no longer be activated on new devices. Details are in our terms.
Which browser should I use?
Chrome or Edge on a computer works best. Typefaces load from the internet, so use MenuFits online.
